Account Migration to the New Kodular Creator

What's New

Kodular Creator is moving to a new platform. Your projects, settings, and files will be automatically migrated when you log in to the new platform. No manual steps needed.

How Migration Works

Migration starts automatically when you log in to the new platform.
Your data is copied, never deleted from the old platform.
Migration is one-way. Changes made on one platform after migration starts won't sync to the other.
Project timestamps (created/modified dates) are preserved.
You can track progress in real time. The dialog shows how many projects have been imported (e.g., "Importing your projects (5 of 20)").
If something goes wrong, Retry Migration is safe. Already-imported items are skipped automatically.

Phases

We are currently at Phase 3

Phase 1: Try the New Platform

The new platform is available at creator-new.kodular.io. You can continue using the current platform as usual. Nothing changes unless you choose to visit the new one.

Phase 2: Current Creator becomes creator-old

The current Creator URL starts redirecting to the new platform. The old platform remains accessible at creator-old.kodular.io in read-only mode for users whose data has been or is being migrated.

Phase 3: New Creator becomes the default

creator.kodular.io now points to the new platform. The old platform (creator-old.kodular.io) redirects non-migrated users to the new one, and remains available in read-only mode only for users who have already been migrated.

Phase 4: Old Platform Decommissioned

Once all accounts have been successfully migrated, the old platform is taken offline.

Troubleshooting

Problem	What to Do
Migration stuck (spinner for 15+ minutes)	Refresh the page. If still stuck, close and reopen.
"Migration error" appeared	Click Retry Migration. It is safe and resumes where it left off.
Retry keeps failing	Contact support. Click Dismiss for Now to keep using the platform meanwhile.
Projects missing after migration	Try Retry Migration if available. Otherwise contact support.
Old platform is read-only	This is expected. Click Go to New Platform.
Clicked "Don't Show Again" by mistake	Contact support to reset your migration status.
Made changes on old platform after migration started	Those changes won't transfer. Export affected projects as AIA and import them manually on the new platform.
